Sending Screen Shots Back Home During Errors

Posted in Programming by Brian Russell on November 1, 2006

I found this post today that shows how to take screen shots of your application when unhandled exceptions occur.  This would allow us to get so much more context to the errors when they occur.  If we ever implement it, I would like to extend it to also directly email it off to us.  Can’t always trust a user to give us every error.

I’ve already making an app that does this for AMMPS. On an exception it gathers system information, exception information, and a screen shot that you can draw diagrams on and places notes. I’ll show you some time.
